Information for Parents
Clothing
We ask that children come dressed in loose comfortable clothing that they will be able to manage
themselves.
Children will be engaged in messy play. We have aprons and paint shirts available but children will
not be prevented from messy play if they don't want to wear one.
We will support children through toilet training and keep spare clothing in case of accidents. If you prefer, you can keep a spare set of clothing on your child’s peg.
We encourage children to go bare foot as often as possible as this supports brain development but in
colder months children will wear slippers indoors.
Children will have access to the outdoor areas in all weather. To facilitate this please provide us with
appropriate clothing each season: sun hat, wet weather gear, snowsuit, thermals, wellies, boots.
In the interests of safety we do not allow children to wear any jewellery or watches.
