All children aged 3 & 4 years are entitled to up to fifteen hours per week of nursery education funding from the term after the child’s third birthday.
The Government funding is intended to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional activities.
For each child the Government pays us £5.25 per hour. Our standard fee is £9.00 per hour plus £4.08 for a hot catered lunch. The difference between the funding and our fee covers the cost of all consumables, that is, the resources that are used every day.
All consumables and a catered lunch into a weekly fee of £58.00 rather than charging a daily fee for consumables. This means that you will pay the same amount for your 15 hours of childcare regardless of the number of days you attend.
Should you wish your child to attend additional hours, these will be charged at £9.00. If you wish your child to have lunch or high tea at times outwith your 15 hours, a fee of £4.08 will be charged for lunch and £2.07 for high tea.

We recognise that some parents work flexibly or have changing shift patterns. At the time of registration we can agree to flexible childcare arrangements for those parents who are able to give a six month shift pattern.
Please note that all holidays, periods of sickness and closure due to unforeseen circumstances incur fees for all parents.
Depending on availability and staff ratios, additional sessions can be added at short notice.
